Sand cinema is a special medium in which a drawing is created with sand on an illuminated glass surface. Using the flowing and weaving structure of sand, artist Guna Zandere has succeeded in creating an emotional, aesthetic and inspiring story of the events that took place in the vicinity of Turaida during the 1690s. This sand film story acquires a special atmosphere courtesy of the music composed by Dzelzs vilks (Iron Wolf) band member, Kaspars Tobijs. Video: SIA Varied Group, Turaida Museum Reserve
